OLIVER VAQUER

“The show’s real ace in the hole, however, turns out to be series writer and actor Oliver Vaquer, whose script and presence within it help to make the listening experience a treat.”

About Me

My name is OLIVER VAQUER (Spanish last name that rhymes with “hair”), an actor, born and raised in NYC, who attended Tisch School of the Arts for a brief stint, and now calls Los Angeles my home.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have a voiceover career that spans more than two decades. I was the voice of Dairy Queen for five years and for that same length of time, the voice of TD Bank and announced the “time and temperature” on every ABC affiliate up and down the eastern seaboard. Some of my other commercial clients include Burger King, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Volvo, Hummer, Lexus, Pepcid, Playstation, Nokia, AT&T, Verizon, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Dr. Pepper, Prego, NY Lotto, Kohl’s and Target.

My animation credits include Nickelodeon’s Max and the Midknights, Family Guy, Justice League: Action, Marvel’s Avengers and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’ve done countless video games, but I’m known for my performance as Robert Lutece in Bioshock: Infinite for which I won the Character of the Year Award @ VGX.

Appropriately enough, it was my voice that brought me back to the stage and screen when I was cast as the various male callers in the Broadway revival of Eric Bogosian’s, Talk Radio! (with Liev Schreiber and Sebastian Stan).

Some of my other theatrical credits include Barbie, The Office, Arrested Development, Jane the Virgin, Lopez, Disney’s Andi Mack and Sex and the City (my very first acting job).

I am the writer/co-creator of the 10-Episode Fictional Podcast, The Angel of Vine starring Joe Mangianello, Alfred Molina, Constance Zimmer, Mike Colter, Misha Collins, Camilla Luddington, Alan Tudyk and myself. The series features a supporting cast of almost forty well-known actors from the world of Voiceover and Season 2 is slated to begin pre-production at some point in the not too distant future.

In addition to Angel, I’ve written a half-hour comedy and an hour-long dramedy which are in development, as well as a feature-length, bi-lingual, Bromantic Spanish Travel Comedy.

Interests Include: Travel, Photography, Music, Food, Tennis & Parentheticals. (What else is there?)

Thanks for stopping by the site and having a look around.

Sincerely,

Oliver
